Tree Warranty Refund Policy
All trees are covered by our 12-month replacement warranty. We do not offer refunds, but we do provide a free tree replacement. Any tree that dies within the first 12 months after initial planting will be replaced. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure the success of your new trees and maintain a valid tree warranty*. As always, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Tree Care*
PROPER WATERING is essential for your new tree’s root system and is required for our twelve-month tree warranty.
BEGIN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO WATER YOUR NEW TREES

Watering is very important for your newly transplanted trees

You must utilize the free irrigation system provided with your tree delivery.

Your Arborvitae trees will require watering twice a week when dry conditions exist.

Do not overwater; verify your soil’s moisture before watering.

Watering is REQUIRED for GREEN GIANT ARBS DIRECT to honor your twelve-month warranty*.
MULCHING is also very important and is recomended for your new trees.
APPLY MULCH TO COVER THE ROOT ZONE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF PLANTING.

The backfilled soil surrounding your new trees needs to be covered with mulch

Apply a 2″- 4″ layer of mulch and cover the entire root zone.

Leave space around the base of the trunk to avoid potential disease or rotting.

Mulch helps to reduce water evaporation from the soil.

Mulch also protects the roots from extreme temperatures.​
*NEGLECT: This is defined as “The failure of owners to care for trees properly.” Trees planted on the owner’s property are the owner's responsibility to care for. The customer must have a general understanding of how to care for trees and be responsible for their day-to-day care and watering. We investigate all warranty claims on-site. Any situation where neglect is determined will void any warranty coverage.
